Quarterly recap: New Products & New Partnerships
The first quarter of 2020 was an eventful one for Vanderbilt.
The first three months included the release of new products and new product features, as well as new partnerships, plus some expert takes on hot industry topics. Read our highlights below.
Intersec Dubai reflection

We kicked off the year at Intersec 2020 and had a very beneficial time in Dubai. Three ACRE brands – Vanderbilt, ComNet, and Open Options were sharing floor space and it was a a perfect example of how the ACRE family works for customers by offering complementary but different technical and market solutions.
Training partnership with 6SS

We also launched a training partnership with 6SS in Middle East & Africa. This partnership will strengthen our ability to produce very high-quality certification training for our main product lines in the MEA region.
SPC Connect 3.0 release

SPC Connect 3.0 includes an entirely reworked user interface and focuses on more intuitive user operations. With this release, we believe that the evolution of SPC Connect has reached a new level. One of Vanderbilt’s targets is to provide state-of-the-art intrusion systems to our customers with a wide range of advantages. In our view, SPC Connect 3.0 ticks all of these boxes.
VR Reader integrations

Vanderbilt were pleased to announce a new partnership with Dutch-based company, Logitime International. Logitime provides a complete and integrated solution for access control, time and attendance, and shop floor data collection. The Vanderbilt partnership centers around the integration of Vanderbilt’s VR40 OSDP Readers with Logitime’s Time and Attendance (T&A), Access Control, and Shop Floor Data Collection software solution.
Premier Doncaster venue gets the ACT365 treatment

Oliver Law Security Ltd (OLS) recently installed Vanderbilt’s ACT365 in The Dome, a premier venue of the Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT). The DCLT is a registered charity delivering premier leisure provision venues across Doncaster. The Dome required a new solution that would protect several areas, including one of the largest gym’s in Doncaster, The Fitness Village, and OLS did not hesitate to recommend the Vanderbilt ACT365 system.
ACT365 gets enhanced video player

A new version of ACT365, the cloud-based access control and video management solution from Vanderbilt, has recently been released. The new release, version 1.5.1, is enhanced with a new video player.
