Vanderbilt Ready to Preview ACT365 at ASIS Show
It's that time again - we're a week away from this year's ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits, Sept. 25-28, in Dallas, at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center. This year, Vanderbilt will preview its new Vanderbilt ACT365 cloud-based access control and video management platform at Booth #4261.
The Vanderbilt ACT365 solution meets a need for small- to mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) to adopt more comprehensive security solutions into their operations without extensive capital investment. It allows end users to remotely control and manage access to their facilities without a dedicated IT department, giving them the ability to deploy a robust access control solution while saving money on significant infrastructure purchases. Users are able to easily scale the solution to accommodate additional doors or cameras, as well as view live and recorded video, manage users, conduct muster reporting in the event of an emergency and review alarms - all from a unified interface on a tablet or smartphone.
The acquisition of Access Control Technologies (ACT) in late 2016 brought the cloud-based offering to the Vanderbilt portfolio, capitalizing on a prediction by IHS Markit in 2014 that the ACaaS market would top $530 million by 2018 and $1.8 billion by 2025.
Users of the ACT365 solution can see real benefit from not having to worry about servers, IT connectivity and compatibility, shifting access control from large capital investments in IT infrastructure and hardware to a more operational expenditure.
