Strong Booth Traffic, Well-attended Education Session Makes ISC West 2016 a Success

Another ISC West is in the books, and we are pleased to announce that this year’s show was one of the best yet – including steady booth traffic, a well-attended SIA Education@ISC West panel presentation, and plenty of demos to current and potential customers.

President Mitchell Kane also sat down with Security Magazine’s Claire Meyer and SourceSecurity.com’s Deb O’Mara to discuss the latest and greatest offerings from Vanderbilt, along with trends that we are seeing in access control today. Both editors included Vanderbilt in their coverage of the event, available here and here, respectively. Kane also met with several other media, including Security Management, SDM Magazine, Brilliance Security Magazine, Campus Safety Magazine and more.

Booth visitors were offered information on the latest products from Vanderbilt, including our signature solutions bright blue® and lite blue®, and the new VI Connect, our custom-configurable data management system.

Finally, we were happy to play a role in this year’s SIA Education@ISC West with our presentation, “Access Control Trends in the Education Sector.” For the discussion, we partnered with our valued customers The College of Saint Rose and Ripon College, as well as integrator LaForce Inc. and technology partner SwiftData. The session was well attended, as many end users and integrators asked a lot of great questions of the panelists about how higher education facilities are changing and growing to meet unique access control needs and incorporating more and more IT technology into these security solutions.

Thank you to everyone who visited us during ISC West 2016. We look forward to seeing you during one of our upcoming events, trainings or webinars!
