Product Recap: Updates to SPC & SPC Connect

July saw a flurry of activity in the Vanderbilt product portfolio.

Let’s recap some of the more significant announcements in recent weeks:

  • Vanderbilt’s R&D team performed preventative maintenance on SPC Connect. This maintenance carried out work on the SPC Connect webpage module, which impacted the public-facing connectivity. See here for full information.
  • The SPC plugin for the OnGuard software product seriesis now available. The SPC OnGuard plugin allows users to trigger off events and control SPC systems from within the OnGuard system. When installed, the plugin allows for a 30-day trial for up to 1 panel and will allow the display of areas, zones, doors, and outputs from the SPC system. Click here for full features.
  • The SPC central system was updated to SPC 3.12. In the coming months, SPC 3.12 will become the baseline version for SPC. It will replace SPC 3.8.5 in manufacturing and be approved for installations according to all relevant International Approvals. Download our document for all information.
  • As part of our new Video portfolio strategy, GVD branded products will be available to order through Vanderbilt once the stock of our current video products is empty. Please see the document for more information.
