Q1. Describe a typical day at work?
No two days are alike. So, I may be traveling to visit customers and giving presentations, or sometimes pre-engineering work or at site participating in meetings with contractors. Then of course, I am often meeting with end-users too.
Q2. What has been your most satisfying moment with Vanderbilt?
I have had many satisfying moments while working for Vanderbilt. For instance, in February of 2016 I won an Omnis order for 2,4 Mill NOK in one shot. Another personal highlight of mine was also getting to or participate in the Presidents Club at Fuerteventura last year.
Q3. How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?
Until I am convinced that it will not work.
Q4. How do you define success?
When you have a vision, and your plan to achieve it works, then you have success.
Q5. If you could talk to one person from history, who would it be?
The USSR ice hockey player Alexander Ragulin. He was my hero growing up. I kept pictures and newspaper articles about him. I loved watching him play and, with him as a role model, I became a quite good defenseman on the ice myself.
Q6. Who has been your greatest inspiration?
My grandfather. He was always correct, always hardworking, and he always had a smile on his face.
Q7. What book has inspired you the most?
The former SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) president, Jan (Janne) Carlzon`s book Riv Pyramidene. It is an extremely good business lecture.
Q8. What are your hobbies?
I love photography and watching football. I am only a beginner in photography and I do participate in some training courses to learn how to create some good urban/street photographs.
Q9. What makes you happy?
The small things in life. Reading a good book and having a Jack Daniels to sip. Or planning a new trip abroad to see new cities. I love traveling.
Q10. What is your favorite animal?
Dogs. Man’s best friend. Simple as that.
