Explore Vanderbilt Platforms More in Depth with Tips & Tricks Webinars
As the world adjusts to more remote work, increasing dependence on conference/video calls, and connecting with colleagues/customers via the internet, we’re looking for ways to ensure that our customers have the information and training they need to navigate our platforms. In response, Vanderbilt U.S. has launched a series of Tips & Tricks Webinars aimed at providing valuable, in-depth training for Vanderbilt Security Management System (SMS) customers in the coming weeks.

Vanderbilt Video Management System (VVMS) v 5.0 with SMS Integration
Our VMS can function as a standalone video solution or as a fully-integrated complement to the Vanderbilt Security Management System (SMS). See a demonstration of the new VVMS v5 software and view video associated with cardholder transactions and alarms in SMS.

SMS Lockdown/Passthrough Options
When it comes to lockdown policies and practices, each facility tends to have its own, very customized way of managing these situations. Learn the different ways of accomplishing Lockdowns within SMS and how to program them to meet your specific needs. For instance, do you want to initiate a lockdown through a push button, card reader or through the software —maybe a combination? Should certain cardholders be granted “pass-through” permissions in a lockdown state? Join us to learn how to program, group and execute Lockdowns (applies to SMS v 5.39 and above).

SMS Access Manager w/Cardholder Definition and Cardholder Access Cleanup
SMS Access Manager is the recommended hub for all cardholder access management. Allows facilitation of cardholder Area Access, management of Linked Access records and provides better visualization of current access. Learn how to create and apply linked access as well as how to "clean up" duplicate and access records that are no longer required.
