Bronze medal for Vanderbilt & ComNet in Ecovadis sustainability rankings

Vanderbilt and ComNet recently scored a Bronze medal in the Ecovadis sustainability rating audit, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings.

The ACRE brands secured the bronze by ranking in the top 16 percentile for Sustainable Procurement and ranking in the top 27 percentile for Ethics.

“These scores indicate that we take ethics seriously and manage it proactively. Ethics scope covers anti-bribery training, whistleblowing policy, staff & supplier codes of conduct,” says Orla Ryan, Head of Quality and Process Management at Vanderbilt and ComNet.

“Moreover, our recent ISO 9001 success shows that we have robust processes in place, as well as a highly-accomplished Supply Chain Management team. We are very pleased with the bronze medal and are looking forward to developing CSR even further,” says Ryan.

Key to the company’s success in securing the bronze medal were various initiatives conducted by staff. For instance, the Dublin office donated IT equipment to Rehab Recycle, Ireland’s leading NGO employer of people with disabilities. The equipment is then repurposed for schools, charities, and other community groups around Ireland.

Additionally, the company’s German offices donated €2,500 to Aktion Deutschland Hilft, following the country’s devastating floods in 2021.

The success at Ecovadis’s sustainability rating audit follows on from the company’s recent ISO 9001:2015 recertification which for the fifth consecutive year saw the company achieve zero non-conformances in an external ISO 9001 audit.

Ecovadis has grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 85,000 rated companies.

Companies, such as Industry leaders Verizon, Johnson & Johnson, Subway, Coca Cola European Partners, Salesforce, Renault-Nissan, ING Bank, and Nokia, partner with EcoVadis to collaborate on sustainability with a common platform, universal scorecard, benchmarks, and performance improvement tools.
