Each year the Annual APAC Dealer Conference brings together a number of dealers from various parts of Asia, held in such places as Singapore, Bangkok and Manila. This year, however, the conference was held in beautiful Bali, Indonesia, home to white sand beaches, sun and volcanoes.
Members of the Vanderbilt team, as well as participants of the three-day conference, were met with volcanic ash and flight delays as a nearby volcano had erupted, closing down the local airport for several days. Fortunately, Vanderbilt and most of the dealers made it in just in time to avoid the disruption and were able to carry on with the conference.
Over the course of the three-day conference, Vanderbilt had the pleasure of meeting with 29 dealers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, China, Japan, India, Taiwan and Australia, to discuss product roadmap updates, voice-of-customer feedback and go over short demonstration refreshers and trainings on the company’s bright blue®, Security Management System (SMS), and Video Management System (VMS) solutions, as well as the SPC Intrusion Detection, an integrated future-proof security system for home, business and industry. Vanderbilt SPC is a visionary alarm concept, developed to capitalize on flexible system engineering and maximize integration and programming options.
“Vanderbilt is a company that is dedicated to providing ongoing support and training for our dealers and customers,” said Mitchell Kane, President, Vanderbilt Industries. “This conference is a great way for us to meet with the people who make our products what they are, gain valuable feedback, as well as a true understanding of what we can do to be a better and stronger company.”
Vanderbilt would like to thank all who participated in the APAC Dealer Conference. A special thanks to Main Hardware International Pte. Ltd., a Vanderbilt distributor for Southeast Asia and India, for hosting the event, doing a fantastic job and for rolling out the red carpet for our team!
