Project Sales Manager – Asia Pacific

As a Project Sales Manager you assists installers, consultants, end users and the sales department with defining achievable solutions, project documentation creation and tender responses. The PSM will assist the Sales Managers to achieve sales targets in the defined territory that meet the strategic requirements of the Company. The main scope of the role is to develop a financially successful sales region by working within the territory, creating, developing and realizing business development and sales opportunities across the product portfolio, and managing relationships across multiple channels such as end-user specification, direct sales partners / integrators, installers and distribution partners.To a lesser extent the PSM will also provide technical support to customers (such as installers, distributors, system integrators), in close with the global technical support department.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and report on assigned territorial business objectives in accordance with the agreed strategy and sales metrics
  • Devise, and implement sales strategies to extend and develop the business
  • Target and develop relationships with consultants active in the respective marketplaces
  • Get Vanderbilt product/solutions specified
  • Develop and manage key strategic Vanderbilt accounts as requested by the Region Manager
  • Involvement in the planning and delivery of training programs to the marketplace
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the market and competitors
  • Provide market intelligence to the business
  • Provide reports and information as required to the Region Manager
  • Provide pre- & after-sales technical support to Vanderbilt customers as technical specialist in defined languages

Education and / or Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with broad commercial expertise
  • Business-related education at bachelor or comparable level
  • Highly professional sales and business development skills
  • Technical competence across electronic Security (focus Access Control, Intrusion), transmission & communications

Competences:

  • Competence in managing the entire sales process from inception to delivery
  • Competence in analysing the sales process to identify current and future opportunities and create sustainable business plans
