Summary
The Process Excellence Manager will introduce benchmark lean methodologies to our processes. Our regional offices have legacy processes that must be assessed, measured, redefined, and set up or improved. This role will focus on the operational as well as strategic cross functional initiatives within the Business Excellence department. The Process Excellence Manager will be responsible for leading workshops, presenting results to senior management and be part of a newly founded team that will drive continuous improvement towards our strategic growth path.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
- Prepare, lead, conduct and follow up on (cross-functional) workshops for process improvements
- Ensure end-to-end process standardization between locations and departments and align to best practice
- Translate economic trends into ACRE Intl. business competitive advantages to be more profitable and sustain growth
- Prepare Business Process Maps and models
- Conduct Process Re-Engineering where needed
- Provide consulting support to solve strategic and operations business (process) problems
- Ability to build and drive transformation road maps based on the given business strategy
- Analyse the cost of existing processes within the business and look for potential cost savings and identify areas of improvement
- Assessment of SAP and adjacent & connected processes for effectiveness and efficiency
- Support CRM project as ambassador for Business Excellence team
- Actively identify potential risks, issues and opportunities relating to the delivery of projects
- Driving more automation and digitisation efforts within the Acre Intl business will be essential
- Automation and transformation projects should be identified, outlined (as business cases & ROI calculations where needed) for budget approvals and be led in DMAIC/DMADV methodologies
- Identify Digitalization Road Map for a future SaaS business and the relating processes
- Special Project management can be assigned (M&A projects and processes)
- Define and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Be a change agent for the organization and create new solutions for existing business problems
- Train ACRE Intl staff on Lean methodologies and ensure continuous growth of business competency and build trainings plans where needed
- Motivate staff to support the development and implementation of CI initiatives
- Define and implement Customer Experience improvements projects
- Create and implement NPS throughout ACRE Intl. in collaboration with Sales and Commercial
- Excellence Team
- Based on results from NPS define and implement improvement actions
- Assessments/ gap analysis on existing and missing processes connected to the IMS
- Support the QHSE team in its activities on a need-by basis
- Prepare, conduct, follow up & report on internal & supplier audits
- Generate and update overview of all NPI/NPD projects within Acre Intl. and follow through on relative business excellence related responsibilities
- Support the NPI/ NPD process & team with creating and following up on PFMEAs and ensure process adherence
- Create required reporting for different projects and processes and present findings to management
- Transform conversations and working procedures into documented business outcomes
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor or University degree preferred or proven experience in continuous education/ trainings
- Overall +10 years experience with a minimum of +5 years in Process Improvement Role (PEx)
- Experience in project management (Prince, PMP)
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, (Black Belt preferred but not essential
- In depth knowledge of business processes & mapping
- Experience in creating business cases for bigger projects (CapEx, ROI…)
- Knowledge in outsourced manufacturing processes preferred
- Knowledge and experience in Lean, Six Sigma & Project management to assess and improve processes & potentially products
- Participated and completed multiple business improvement projects as project lead and have solved moderately complex business problems
- Long Experience in RCA, CAPA, FRACAS, problem solving methods
- ERP, PLM, NPI/NPD knowledge and experience is required
- Experience with SAP EDI beneficial
- Experience or knowledge in Manufacturing beneficial

- Expert knowledge in Six Sigma and Lean Techniques
- Knowledge of RPA and deployment required

- Lean Tools and their usage should be visible in all workshops and process visualizations
- Six Sigma application throughout processes is preferred
- Ability to motivate, coach, mentor others by leading by example and sharing experience and knowledge
- Self-motivated and independent
- Work with minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
- Monitor and drive team performance
- Commitment to quality, and familiarity with Health & Safety and environmental standards

Work Environment & Requirements
- Employee will work in a hybrid format
- Travel within Europe will be required, therefore, role requires the successful candidate to hold, or be able to obtain, a passport
